Get ready to run, play, and have some fun after school. Join Ms. Sabbag and Mrs. Van for an afternoon of Rounders and Pillo Polo on the Rounders Diamond. Kids will get to play some favorite Noon Sports games with friends and enjoy snacks afterward. Limited to 30 spots. For current Fairmeadow students in grades 3–5 only — no younger siblings, please.

Mrs. Easton’s Garden Cooking Party 🌱

Saturday, October 24th, 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m.
Location: Fairmeadow Garden

Join 1st grade teacher Mrs. Easton and co-host Neha Ghildayal for a hands-on fall afternoon in the Fairmeadow garden: picking and peeling apples, making homemade applesauce and mini apple pies, playing garden games, and creating a nature-inspired craft. A special chance for current 1st graders to spend time with Mrs. Easton outside the classroom, and for former students to come back and join the fun. Limited to 20 spots. For current Fairmeadow students; current and former Mrs. Easton students are especially encouraged to join.

Fire & Flour: A Backyard Pizza Night

Saturday, October 24th, 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.

Join fellow Fairmeadow parents for a relaxed, adults-only evening of homemade pizza fired fresh in a backyard pizza oven, plus salad, wine and non-alcoholic drinks, and dessert. Come hungry and enjoy good company while supporting the Fairmeadow PTA.

Library Pajama Party

Friday, November 6th, 6:30 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.
Location: Fairmeadow Library

Drop off your students to join Fairmeadow Librarian Mr. Tooley and other party hosts for a quiet evening in the library, with arts and crafts, story time, and volunteer-led activities. Perfect for our youngest Firebirds and library-lovers of any age — parents are welcome to stay for free. Students should wear pajamas and may bring a stuffed animal and water bottle; no food will be provided.

Adults Only Zumba Party

November 6th, 6:45 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.
Location: Fairmeadow MP Room

Raise money for Fairmeadow while breaking a sweat and having fun. Join Zumba instructor and Fairmeadow parent Katie G. for a 45-minute dance fitness class followed by “shots” of green juice and immunity boosters. No dance experience is necessary, and guests are welcome to take breaks at any time. Open to anyone 18+ affiliated with Fairmeadow, including current parents and guardians, alumni and alumni parents, staff, friends, and neighbors.

S’mores & More: A Family Firepit Night

Saturday, November 7th, 4:30 p.m. to 6:00 p.m.

Gather around the fire for a cozy evening of pizza, s’mores, and fun with Fairmeadow families. Kids can play while parents mingle, then everyone gathers around the fire pit to roast marshmallows and make their own s’mores. Space is limited to just 8 families, so reserve your spot early. The $50 family ticket includes pizza, s’mores, and drinks for the whole family.

2nd Grade Movie Matinee

Thursday, November 12th, 2:30 p.m. to 4:00 p.m.
Location: Fairmeadow Library

Calling all Fairmeadow 2nd graders! Join Ms. Vermaire, Ms. Gray, and Ms. Peters for a special after-school movie afternoon just for 2nd grade!

Kids will enjoy a fun movie with snacks and drinks while hanging out with their classmates. Parents can enjoy a little extra time to themselves while the teachers take over the fun!

Open to Fairmeadow 2nd graders only. No siblings, please.

5th Grade Movie Under the Stars

Friday, November 13th at 7:00 p.m.
Location: 5th Grade Balcony (pending weather)

Join the 5th grade teachers for a special Movie Under the Stars. Students will enjoy an evening movie and treats outdoors on the 5th Grade balcony — a fun chance to hang out with friends and spend an evening with their teachers under the stars. For current Fairmeadow 5th graders only. All 5th graders are welcome—there is space for the entire grade to attend!

Trading Card Party

December 5th, 10:00 a.m. to 11:30 a.m.

Bring your card collections to the Trading Card Party. Students can trade, show, and talk about their favorite cards. This is a drop-off event for Fairmeadow students in 1st through 5th grade only. Snacks and a special party favor will be provided. Parents are welcome to stay.

First Taste at Sovereign

Saturday, December 12th, 7:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m.
Location: Downtown Palo Alto

Be among the first to experience Sovereign, downtown Palo Alto’s newest bar. Join hosts Michelle and Brian for a private evening featuring a generous charcuterie board and a guided spirits tasting with a local distillery. Limited to 3 couple spots (2 guests each), 21+.

Leather Bracelet Making Party

Sunday, December 13th, 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m.
Location: Greenmeadow Pool

Ages: 9+

Get creative and make your own one-of-a-kind leather bracelet! Kids will learn to work with leather, wire, and jewelry-making tools while designing a bracelet to take home. All materials and instructions are included.

San Jose Barracuda Hockey Game

Sunday, January 24th at 3:00 p.m.

Join Fairmeadow for a fundraising party and group event with the San Jose Barracuda, the Bay Area’s professional American Hockey League team and primary developmental affiliate of the San Jose Sharks. Families can enjoy an exciting afternoon of live hockey together, with fast-paced action and the fun of experiencing a professional hockey game as a Fairmeadow group. There will also be a fun exclusive experience made available for all attendees, such as an on-ice activity after the game!

Sing Your Heart Out ❤️

Sunday, February 14th, 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.

Celebrate Valentine’s Day with a joyful morning of music and connection. Led by professional singer Sonnet Simmons, warm up, get a little vocal coaching, and sing favorite songs together — no experience needed. Light refreshments will be served. Women only, limited to 30 spots.

Backyard Craft Party

Calling all Fairmeadow 1st graders! Join Fairmeadow 1st grade parent Laura Jefferson for a creative afternoon of crafting and backyard fun. Kids will work on a special hands-on art project, with plenty of time to create, play, and hang out with friends.

The exact craft is still a surprise, with lots of fun ideas in the works.
